ALL LEVELS VINYASA

Our classes are for all levels. New, Intermediate and Advanced Yoga students are welcome to our Vinyasa Classes. A variety of options and pose variations are offered in every class; encouraging students to listen and follow their body awareness in each pose. Our instructors are committed to making everyone feel comfortable in every class. Whether you are a new student or a long time yoga practitioner, there are variations for everyone. The most important thing to remember when you practice is to listen to your body and do what feels right for you. Vinyasa flow classes are aimed to move with your breath.

ASHTANGA

(IN PERSON/ONLINE WITH ZOOM)

Ashtanga Yoga is a highly focused practice. This is the Pattabhi Jois method of yoga, which is firmly grounded in the Yoga Sutras. Ashtanga is tied together through Vinyasa, a conscious connection of the breath to movement, which helps generate a balance of strength and flexibility, lightness and heaviness, movement and stillness. In this practice, Ujjayi pranayama is maintained throughout; creating a steady rhythm in the breath that is sustained evenly from pose to pose.

POWER HR YOGA

Power Hour Yoga is a strong practice that encourages students to engage more fully with the body, as a tool, allowing for a more focused mind. It has a physical focus on stamina, strength, flexibility and endurance. Like Vinyasa, there are no set sequences and the sense of flow is present. Unlike Vinyasa, a power yoga class is always fastpaced; enough to be a challenging workout.

The intensity of the class goes beyond improving strength and flexibility. Our goal is to bring awareness and encouragement to the student by pushing the boundaries of what we think we can or can’t do.

RESTORATIVE YOGA

A soothing practice that aims to restore the body and mind to a rested relaxed state. Each Yoga pose is supported by props (blankets, pillows, blocks ) and are held for several minutes.

This practice of Yoga is based on K. Pattabhi Jois “Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Method” created by Larry Schultz. A dynamic style of yoga. Rocket yoga empowers you to progress in your practice. It helps to strengthen you physically and mentally.

Warm Yoga is a set sequence of 26 postures designed to work all the major muscle groups, from top to bottom in a heated environment. The postures are always offered in layers so that it’s equal parts challenging and calming. And in time, with patience and practice, the practice becomes a moving meditation. Come with an open mind and the desire to grow on your mat. Join us and together we’ll sweat the stress away.
